Why Baobab Assist Exists
International assistance providers know the world. They don’t know Africa – not the terrain, not the logistics, not which ambulance can actually reach a remote lodge at 2am.
Our team combines three decades of frontline paramedic and emergency response experience – including flight paramedic work, coordination of complex evacuations across mountain, bush and cross-border terrain, and deep, current experience in medical claims auditing and cost containment for international insurers operating in African markets. Layered on top is a personally-vetted network of clinical, logistics, aeromedical and in-country contacts spanning multiple African countries – relationships built over decades, not licensed from a directory.
